Overview
Organized in celebration of IX Telecom’s 18th Anniversary ("Unstoppable: 18 Years of Uptime"), IX Arena 2026 was engineered as a month-long internal championship spanning multi-discipline arena sports, hybrid endurance challenges, and competitive esports (Mobile Legends).
As Creative Lead, I architected the complete visual identity and digital operational framework—transforming an annual corporate sports meet into a lore-driven, high-energy athletic championship built around three competing factions, custom athletic emblems, and an interactive live web portal.

The Strategy: Three Factions, One Arena
Corporate sports tournaments often rely on basic color bibs that fail to foster deep team culture. For IX Arena, we developed an esports-inspired faction system where every department was drafted into one of three totems—each embodying distinct competitive spirits, athletic attributes, and heraldic crests:

Vibrant Falcons (Orange)
• The Spirit: Vision and speed. A team identity built on anticipating plays, seamless coordination, and clinical tactical execution.
• Athletic Attribute: Strategic awareness, rapid reflexes, and decisive playmaking.

Emerald Vipers (Green)
• The Spirit: Focus and lethal composure under pressure. Conserving energy to strike rapidly the moment an opponent leaves an opening.
• Athletic Attribute: High endurance, lightning transitions, and calculated agility.

Coral Panthers (Pink)
• The Spirit: Strength, physical command, and relentless drive. Anchored in sheer grit to outwork opposition without backing down.
• Athletic Attribute: Explosive acceleration, physical resilience, and unyielding competitive spirit.
Brand Architecture & Modular Systems
The IX Arena visual system was engineered for aggressive high-contrast impact across physical sportswear, arena banners, and high-frequency digital announcements.
Primary Typography & Kinetic Type
• Primary Display Typeface: "Obviously" (Super Weight) — Delivers an ultra-heavy, athletic presence with bold angular cuts that command immediate authority.
• Secondary & UI Typeface: "Elza" (Medium, Regular) — Clean, legible modern grotesque balancing high-density schedule data, rulebooks, and tournament standings.
The Logo Hierarchy
The identity features a versatile suite of marks designed for scale:
• Main Wordmark: Arched, heavy typography designed for marquee banners and jersey chests.
• Symbol Mark ("A" Crest): A crown-topped arena emblem integrating the year "2026" in stacked and inline lockups for jersey sleeve badges, medals, and app icons.
Color System & Contrast Strategy
• The Anchor: High-saturation royal blue establishing the official tournament signature across marquee stages and digital backdrops.
• Faction Tones: High-contrast Vibrant Orange, Emerald Green, and Coral Pink engineered for instantaneous recognition on the field and in live broadcasts.
• High-Visibility Canvas: Acid cyan, pale blue, mint, and lemon yellow backings that maintain readability across dynamic motion graphics and social results.
Digital Arena: The Real-Time Tournament Hub
To maintain high engagement throughout the month of competition, we deployed the dedicated IX Arena web portal (ixtelecom.net/arena):
• Live Results & Standings: Match-day scoring templates and automated bracket tracking keeping all divisions informed immediately following game conclusions.
• Interactive Schedules & Rosters: Mobile-optimized access allowing athletes to check schedules across track events, racket sports, and gaming brackets.
• Community Momentum: High-impact social media result cards, match day victory posters, and recap galleries celebrating champion totems in real time.
